Tweedish Cloth
An excellent use of dishcloth cotton leftovers!
Materials needed:
Two colors dishcloth cotton: one solid, one variegated
#7 needles
Cast on 38 stitches in solid color.
Purl 2 rows.
Begin pattern stitch: (slip stitches purlwise)
Change to Variegated Color:
Row 1: (wrong side): Sl1, K1, *yarn front, Sl1, yarn back, K1*, repeat between **.
Row 2: Knit across.
Change to Solid Color:
Row 3: (wrong side): Sl1, K1, *yarn front, Sl1, yarn back, K1*, repeat between **.
Row 4: Knit Across
Repeat these 4 pattern rows until cloth is desired length.
Knit one more row with solid color.
Bind off with solid color.
